A:AnswerYes you can set it up to do an alarm which will vibrate on your wrist. I have mine set up for a specific time and it works without any issues whatsoever.
A:AnswerI just had this myself. Some how it turned itself off??? On your phone app, tap where it says surge. It takes you to the screen where it says" surge synced how ever long ago." Tap that again. It should list a choice that says...call and text notifications, it should have a red check mark in the box. If not hit it again. Mine shuts off constantly. It must be something that shuts off when you're not in sync with the phone.
A:AnswerHi Bill! I oversee our health plan at work and we use Virgin Pulse too. I use the FitBit HR, which is superior to the MAX device. It syncs whenever I open the Fitbit app or walk near the dongle in my laptop. The steps pull over to VP and post correctly. Never had an issue.
A:AnswerIt only tracks runs/hikes etc when you turn on those functions (very easy to do so, takes about 5-10 seconds). The other benefit of this is battery life is extended because it's not constantly looking for GPS signal.
A:AnswerExcellent for cycling. Takes about two minutes-at times for gps to kick in. Very accurate as compared with my odometer. All you referenced is supported.
