• The battery is built in. Just be sure you have your charging cable handy if you're using any fitness training program. Regular use it'll last one week. GPS tracking exercises like a jog around the park, 5 hours.

• It plugs in like the charge or force. The battery life is great. It outlasts my Apple iPhone on runs. I'm on day three without a charge. Used the gps 2 times for a total of 3 hours during the timeframe. I still have half the battery life left.

• It has a special cord that comes with it. I went 9 hours with no bars showing. Depending on how much exercise/alarms/timing or tracking your route with your phone. 4 to 5 days or so

• The Surge charges via USB. The battery charges very fast, so it is not off of the wrist for too long, and the battery has been lasting around 5-7 days per charge for me so far.

• Depends on your usage. If I do not use the GPS function, it lasts about 5 days. If I use the GPS, it will last 4-5 hours of constant tracking.

• The FitBit Surge will have an internal rechargeable battery! It will have a cord that plugs into it, similar to the Charge.
