A:Answer I use it to reach under fairly deep shelving units that have about 2 inches of clearance to the floor; also, other little nooks and crannies I can't get to without a wand attachment with my Dyson - V6 Bagless Cordless Stick Vacuum (on sale about 5 weeks ago for more than 50% off--it was new, but the box was beat up; plus, sales associate said they are discontinuing it). The crevice reach under tool works very well. I bought it on clearance, and it was an open box item--not stated in the description, but I think that's why it's on clearance. Nothing wrong with it. You have to press apart the middle so it fully extends with the flex part visible--it's packaged non-extended.
