Over‑The‑Range Microwave with Pure Air Filter (model FMOS1846… / FMOS1846BS/… similar Pure Air series). You can use the Pure Air 1.8 cu ft Frigidaire model in place of FGMV17WNVF, as long as your cavity measurements match. However, do not expect the old mounting bracket to work. You're safest installing the OEM bracket kit designed for FGMV17-series or compatible Gallery models. That way, your drill hole placements and bracket alignment will be correct, and installation will go smoothly. - Maico

- Answer This model uses 2 filters (1 on each side) which are under the micro wave, not on top. I am not familiar with the Kenmore Elite.
