Q: QuestionHow strong are the glass shelves? Has anyone ever had them start to crack or even fail under the weight of too many glass bottles, for example? Let’s imagine I am just loading an entire shelf full of Heineken bottles, all upright. Any objections?

• A:Answer The shelves are comparable to a full size refrigerator in strength so you will have no problem. But as others have said the pictures showing full size bottles resting on the bottom of the fridge is misleading. They will not fit. You have to rearrange shelves which creates some odd shelf sizes. Overall I’m happy with the fridge.

Q: QuestionWhat is the max width when opening the door? I am replacing a wine fridge under a countertop and need to know how wide the unit is with the door open (or widest while swinging open).

• A:Answer Hi, Manders! In an enclosed space, the door should be able to swing open 90 degrees as long as the hinge is not covered by surrounding cabinetry. Additional space around the hinge side or less depth in the cutout would allow it to swing a bit wider. The depth has been measured with the door 90-degrees open at 43 inches. ~Ashton
