I spent about 45 minutes removing this stuff. Yet one more thing to hate about Frigidaire. If you look on the left side of the handle there are two set screws that will allow you to remove it. You will be able to get the film off of it after that. As for around the seal and the temp readout, I just kept working at it. Hence the reason it took 45 minutes to remove.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think it has to be removed, but the perforated lines on mine made it look like it was scratched, so we removed it. Depends on how yours looks. If you don't notice it, might as well leave it.
