A: The freezer seems to be running too much or too long it may be due to the following reasons: -If the room or outside temperatures are hotter than usual, it is normal for the freezer to work harder under these conditions. -If the freezer has been recently disconnected, it will take up to 4 hours for the freezer to cool down completely. -If the unit has been recently packed with large amounts of warm or hot food, the unit may run longer until it arrives to the desired temperature. -If the doors are opened frequently opened or left open for too long, the warm air entering the freezer will cause it to run for longer periods of time. -Door seal may need to be checked. Q: what does it mean when a freezer has a defrost drain/ or no drain?
A: Model FKFH21F7HW has an automatic defrost. It does have a drain hose that directs the water into a drain pan. From the drain pan the water will evaporate. You will not have to defrost the unit manually. Thank you, Frigidaire

A: Try putting in product in freezer first. With the product it might start to become quiet.
Q: when i pick up can i lay on side or back?
A: Hi Anonymous- If in travel the unit needs to be placed on its side, it is recommended that the unit is left unplugged and in upright position for about 12 hours. Once the 12 hours have passed, plug the unit in and leave it empty for about 8-10 more hours till the unit stabilizes the temperature. We hope this information is of assistance.
Q: What is the correct temp for the freezer to freeze ice cream?
A: the man that set ours up told us that 10 degrees was perfect. It is great for ice, so I imagine it is great for confections.

A: You can sometime go online and ask for a free printable control manual for your freezer. you may have to have the model and serial number which is located on the inside of freezer. I have had some luck searching for different specs and manuals for different products.
