“This unit appears to have it's own sleeve. It isn't described as a slide in chassis though. Is there any down side to putting this unit into an existing sleeve we have thru the wall? The venting would be maintained on the sides and to the rear.”

• The sleeves are only to make use in a window easier. Note the side vents to the two rear sides of the unit. If those are not obstructed there would be no problem at all.
