- Answer Hi, Lor! If the freezer is icing up, please make sure that you are not overpacking the freezer and that the airflow is not being obstructed by the vents. Listed below is the Defrost Process: 1. To defrost the refrigerator, remove all food and objects from the refrigerator. 2. Ensure the drip pan is in place under the freezer compartment. 2. Ensure the drip pan is in place under the freezer compartment. 3. Unplug the unit and ensure the cord is in a safe, dry location. 4. The defrost process may take a few hours. To speed up the defrost time, keep the door open and place a bowl of warm water in the refrigerator. Never use sharp objects to remove the frost. 5. During the defrost cycle, water will accumulate in the drip tray. The drip tray may need to be emptied during the defrost cycle. Do not leave it unattended. 6. After defrosting is complete, empty and wipe down the drip tray as well as the interior of the refrigerator. 7. Reset the refrigerator to the desired temperature and put all food and objects back into the refrigerator. I hope that this information was helpful! Christy

- Answer Hey there, Gbay. We are happy to help. If water is collecting in your fridge, the temperature may be too warm. Set refrigerator/freezer control to a colder setting. Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize. Check if the door/lid is slightly open, warm air can enter the unit causing moisture. Ensure the door/lid gaskets are fully seated in the retaining channel. Note if food is left uncovered in the unit, moisture will be drawn out of it and will deposit any place it can. Always cover or wrap food. Also, be sure to store vegetables in containers with lids or freezer bags to prevent food from dehydrating and leaving moisture on interior surfaces. Lastly, keep in mind if the weather is hot and humid, the rate of frost buildup and internal sweating can increase. If the issue continues, connect with us directly for assistance. - Answer Hi, Donh. this is my third fridge of this type. I had bought one from Amazon that had to be returned and exchanged...twice. I believe this is because I had it in the garage. they have to be stored within a temperature margin or they just stop cooling and freezing. Had to put this one in my dining room.

- Answer Yes, it can be transported horizontally, but be sure to allow standing in upright/vertical position for 24 hrs before plugging up to start, so refrigeration gases can settle before use.
