Q: QuestionCan it be used outdoors?
Asked by Bill.
- A:Answer Hello, Bill! We would not recommend using this appliance outside. When choosing a location for your mini fridge, choose a place that is near a grounded electrical outlet. Do not use an extensions cord or an adapter plug. If possible, place the refrigerator out of direct sunlight and away from the range, dishwasher or other heat sources.Do not install the refrigerator where the surrounding air temperature may fall to 50°F (10°C) or below. The refrigerator compartment contents may freeze. Do not install the refrigerator where the surrounding air temperature may reach 110°F (43°C) or above. The refrigerator and freezer compartments may rise to above normal operating temperatures. We hope that this information is useful to you. Q: QuestionWhat’s the wattage as it is going in an rv and running on an inverter?
Asked by Jackpot.
- A:Answer The compressor uses 70 watts while running. (Compressor model number is L35C5L for reference) Startup wattage is tough to measure since it dwindles so quickly, but I typically see my battery monitor show ~300 watts during startup. I would say a 600w+ power inverter would be a safe bet. We run it in our campervan and it's been a great unit. -Tim

Q: QuestionWhat is the amperage draw of this refrigerator and where is it listed in the spec?
Asked by Chris.
- A:Answer There is no information on any online sites, but the compressor number is L35C5L which lists 65 watts. Running through my vans power inverter I see 70-75 watts running. (Power inverter efficiency losses included) I'd estimate startup wattage around 300 watts but if planning on using a power inverter, I would go with 600w+ to be safe. Hope that's helpful! -Tim
