A:Answer The timer can be set to turn it on if it's off, off if it's on. If you mean something like setting a 24 hour cycle, you probably can't.
If it's on the energy saver setting, the thermostat will also turn off the fan function if the compressor is not running to cool off the room.
If you mean will it keep a constant temperature in the room, no. That requires "fuzzy logic" which would vary the output air temperature in a different manner.
