  • Questionwill this operate like iy should above 70 degrees

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hello, thank you for this inquiry. Yes, unit should operate as expected in temperatures above 70°F. Most refrigerators, including this model, are designed to work in normal indoor temperatures ranging from 60°F to 110°F. However, if the ambient temperature is significantly higher than 70°F (for example, in a garage or non-climate-controlled space that exceeds this range), it could cause the refrigerator to work harder or less efficiently, potentially affecting its cooling performance. ~Juan

  • QuestionWill sodas, condiments, milk, etc fit in the door storage area of fridge?

    Asked by Trixie.

    • Answer Thank you for your question. Yes, the door storage area on the Frigidaire 21.4 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Counter-Depth Refrigerator is designed to accommodate everyday items such as sodas, condiments, and standard-sized milk containers. The door bins are configured at different heights, allowing for flexible storage of commonly used items. However, larger or taller bottles may only fit in certain bins depending on their size and position. Because this is a counter-depth model, the door storage is more streamlined compared to full-depth refrigerators, which may limit space for oversized containers. Overall, most standard beverages and condiments will fit comfortably, while bulkier items may need to be stored on interior shelves. - Jessica

  • QuestionHello, is the freezer able to be converted into regular refrigerator temperature? Basically can both sides be used as a refrigerator instead of one side being a freezer?

    Asked by Dave.

    • Answer Hello Dave, based on the Frigidaire Use & Care manual for side-by-side models like this, the answer is no, it cannot be converted into a full refrigerator on both sides. The unit has two separate compartments with fixed roles: - A freezer side with a temperature range of about –6°F to 4°F (–21°C to –15°C) - A refrigerator (fresh food) side with a range of about 33°F to 43°F (1°C to 7°C) The controls allow you to adjust each side’s temperature, but only within those specific ranges (freezer stays freezing, fridge stays above freezing). What that means - You cannot raise the freezer side to normal refrigerator temps (≈34–40°F). - The system is designed so the freezer supplies cold air to the fridge side, so both compartments are not interchangeable. - Maico

  • Questiondoes it scratch like stainless steel does?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Any metal surface can be scratched. I will say that we haven't scratched it yet, and it really does live up to its "fingerprint-resistant stainless steel look." Any fingerprints or smudges occurring during normal use are easily wiped away (unlike a similar Samsung unit we owned before this one--that one was nearly impossible to keep smudge-free).

  • Questiondoes it need a water connection?

    Asked by irb.

    • Answer No, since there's no water dispenser or built-in ice maker. I see that as a plus--less complexity and fewer parts that can fail.
