• This is a compressor unit. It is reasonably quiet and good looking. The problem I have with the cooler is that the temperature I’m looking for in the larger lower section has never reached 55 degrees. I’m going to give the unit some more time to reach the desired temperature and if it doesn’t I’ll be exercising the warranty plan I bought from Best Buy at purchase. Also, if you really want to store 38 bottles of standard sized red wine bottles, look for a larger unit.
