These newer A/Cs are designed to hold a little water for the fan to slap up into that hot outside coil. A little water helps cool it better than air only. Just like when you step out of the pool, the wind cools you off better than when you were dry.

It is normal to see a little water, it is the condensation from the moisture removed from the air; which is recirculated back on to the condenser coils to prevent the air conditioner from over heating.
