“Does It Block Street Noise? I've been looking at various AC's, but most seem to have a thin piece of styrofoam just behind the air vents. It seems that this is the only thing separating your bedroom from the outside. I visited my local Best Buy but all their AC's are inside the box and none were on display. Does this unit do a good job of keeping outside noise from entering through the unit itself? Is the inside also filed with styrofoam ? Thanks.”

• No...not only does it not block out noise, but where the adjustable venting is, there is a clear and visible opening that lets in light, so if you are using this in a darkened bedroom, it defeats the purpose....do not buy this product.....you will be disappointed.
