The water sound you hear is being made by what is called a swisher ring on the edges of the fan blades. It slings a bit of water into the coil to help with efficiency. It's a good thing. Also, make sure your AC has a slight downward angle on the outside so that it does drain properly. Too much water sitting inside leads to rust faster. Mold may accumulate as well.

In this case, condensation buildup is circulated across the condenser coil to help keep the coils cool and to maintain proper refrigerant. In very humid conditions, some water may still drain from the hole in the base of the A/C unit to remove larger quantities of moisture from the room -- this is normal. However, since the fan is blowing water from the side vent, this typically indicates that the unit may be improperly installed. We recommend tilting the air conditioner slightly to the outside to allow water drainage. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to reconnect! Thanks again!
