• it is considered a window unit for single or double hung windows, not for a swing out window

• Unfortunately, there is no window unit that I am aware of that could be installed in a swing out window. With some modification, you might be able to make the window kit for a portable work, but you would have to take out the screen. Thank You, Frigidaire
