The power cord of the appliance is equipped with a three-prong grounding plug for protection against shock hazards. It must be plugged directly into its own properly grounded three-prong receptacle, protected with a 15 amp time delay fuse or circuit breaker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I put in a regular 15amp outlet and it works great. The only thing that I'd consider is if your current breaker has too many things on it already, you don't want to trip the circuit by accident and have all your stuff defrost.
