“Perhaps I missed it, but why are no instructions given on cleaning the condenser coils, defrost condensate tray and undercarriage of the fridge? That seems to be a basic requirement for maintaining the fridge's performance. Thx!”

Hi, there! Thank you for reaching out. The recommended cleaning for the internal and external cabinets can be found in the Use and Care Guide on pages 25 through 28. Coils and the Undercarriage of the refrigerator can be cleaned with a cleaning brush and a vacuum. The Defrost Condensate Tray should be cleaned every 3 months. You can use distilled white vinegar, hot soapy water, or one-part bleach with two parts water in a spray bottle. Let the solution sit for 20 minutes then rinse thoroughly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most manufacturers would prefer a service technician do those items even though someone with basic knowledge is capable. When it comes to the coils your suppose to use a coil cleaning agent as well that doesn’t harm the aluminum
