Q: Questionwhat can you suggest for putting on the bottom of my range? my old range rusted out due to this issue.

• A:Answer Hello! We don't recommend using harsh chemicals on the bottom of the range. The steam and self-clean features create enough heat to loosen up and burn away residue so that once the inside of the oven is cool again, the debris can be wiped away with a damp cloth. Q: QuestionThe height of this unit on Best Buy's site says it is only 35 and seven eighths inches tall from the bottom to the top of the control panel display. This seems incredibly short. Is this correct or a misprint?

• A:Answer Seems to be a capacitive style touch screen. Some times you will have to dry your hands or the screen if it's damp to get the sensors to register your touch.

Q: QuestionI've seen bad reviews regarding the convection fan always going on and off and not being good with some items such as bacon (splashes grease around oven) and cupcakes (flattens tops). Does the fan always run (regular bake mode) or only in convection mode?

Q: QuestionHow deep is this stove from back to front on the outside (not internal oven depth)? The specs say 25" but that doesn't make much sense when comparing to other stoves that are 28-29" deep but with similar Cu. Ft measurements.

Q: QuestionHow deep is the bottom drawer? Will it hold fry pans, or sauce pans?

• A:Answer From the floor to the top of the pullout drawer is about 10 inches; however, the height that you can actually have items reach is only about 4 1/2 inches high. This is absolutely the worst feature of this stove. We got about 1/2 of the items in this one that we had in the stove it replaced, which was very disappointing. Had we known this, we wouldn’t have purchased this model.

Q: QuestionMy range is less than 3 years old. I turned on a top burner and it made a loud popping sound (like an electrical sound) and immediately shut off. I unplugged it for fear of a fire. What do you think is wrong and how do I get it checked out?

• A:Answer Call Frigidaire's customer service line. Be prepared to be disconnected for a couple hours "due to high call volume" before somebody actually answers the phone. It will then be hard to understand them due to their heavy accents and the noise of dogs and kids in the background.

Q: QuestionLove this stove BUT during regular oven bake the fan comes on every 10-15 seconds. Fan is louder than my microwave. Open concept home so find this really horrible when entertaining.

• A:Answer I just got my range about 3 weeks ago and am experiencing the same - on regular bake. It’s extremely annoying, sounds like an old car idling off and on, off and on. And I agree, louder than microwave. Considering a return. Best Buy has offered to replace it (no guarantee next one would be any quieter) or upgrading (I pay difference). A friend has KitchenAid with same features and fan is super quiet.
