QuestionI've read reviews that the top is hard to clean. Yikes! I need to know more about that!! What happens when food boils over? What product is best for cleaning it? How do you scrape cooked-on food off? Thx!

- Answer Before my first use I "cleaned" the stove top with CeramaBryte Cooktop liquid, applying it with a soft cloth. Each time I cook thereafter, I clean again with the CeramaBryte (a little goes a long way, it is not expensive, less than $4 & you can find this in any supermarket or Target, etc.) Using this method I have never had a problem cleaning the stove top that still looks like new. I also recommend that you use Barkeepers Friend to clean the bottom of your cookware before using. This too can be found in supermarkets and is less than $4.

- Answer Hi there Qoven1. Yes to all of those. During the quick preheat function, the bake burner will cycle on and off. The convection fan will turn on and stay on until quick preheat is canceled. The convection fan will begin rotating after Convection Bake, Convection Roast, or Quick Preheat has been activated. Convection cooking uses a fan to circulate hot air around the oven and food. It browns food more evenly and reduces hot spots in the oven. If the oven door is opened when convection bake is active, the convection fan will stop rotating until the oven door is closed. Once cooking has been completed, the fan will remain on until the oven has reached a safe temperature for the internal components.
