It's apparently not unusual for cameras to not come with a memory card, but it should have included the interface cable and instruction book. Chances are the box was opened by someone before you purchased it. You should return it, but I would suggest asking for a replacement instead. The following is a google search through which you should be able to find the right memory card. You can also ask a Best Buy rep for recommendations.
