- Answer Yes, this device includes the Trip Planner feature that can be used to create and save a trip with multiple destinations. Or if you only want to “shape” a custom route to go the way you prefer, the device has a Shaping Points feature also. Thanks, James

- Answer While a device that updates 100% automatically does not yet exist, Garmin does offer a series of devices which can connect to a Wi-Fi network and download updates wirelessly, without the need to connect to a computer. For this feature, I recommend looking into the Drive 51 or 61, DriveSmart 51 or 61, DriveLuxe 51, or DriveAssist 51. -MH

QuestionWhat mounting hardware comes with this model? How long does a charge last? How exactly does it charge?

- Answer Mounting hardware is a suction cup that connects to the back of the Garmin and the suction cup to any smooth surface. If you don't have a smooth surface or don't want to stick it to your windshield, Garmin will send you a mounting 'disk' that has an adhesive on one side and the other side is smooth for the suction cup. A full charge from 'dead' can take 6+ hours. It can be charge via a USB cable that comes with it or the 'power cord' that plugs into a vehicle's auxiliary power socket (i.e., cigarette lighter socket).

QuestionI have an older Garmin GPS (6yrs old) I am wanting to get another one, but I havent been able to find one that has the blue line that follows your routes so you can trace your exact steps. Does this model have that blue line?

- Answer It depends on the area and which is chosen by the map makers. Unfortunately, it will not display both.

- Answer No, this model doesn’t include any truck specific routing. The Garmin dēzl™ series includes detailed maps for North America that also include truck-related restrictions – like bridge heights, sharp curves, weight limits and more – and related information for most major roads and highways.

- Answer I'm still learning about this unit since I just bought it. There should be enough internal memory and/or add a 64 mb card to provide additional memory to download the North America maps.

- Answer The model number of this product is 010-01533-0B. To see the model number, locate the adhesive label on the back or bottom of the device. The adhesive label includes the serial number and model number printed on it.
