• Yes, and continuously records as you drive. I suggest buying a 64 gig memory card for longer stored dash cam recording.

• No, the device is will not operating in navigation mode when connect to a computer. It will go into Mass Storage Mode so it can be used by our mapping software for updates. ~JH
