QuestionAudio alert not working for speed limit. Red outline does work but there is no audible warning. Why not? I've checked and rechecked all the settings I should be hearing warnings but I'm not.

QuestionHow do you adjust the speed limit or add if not there on the unit. My old one you would just hold the speed limit display. That only brings you to the trip info on this unit. Thanks...

QuestionAre the units for sale at $228 new or refurbished?

- Answer The reasons that they are cheaper I think is because they are last years model. The one I bought from Best Buy on sale was a brand new GPS. I called Garmin and asked what the difference was between the new 51LMT DriverAssist which is the newer model and the older 50LMT DriverAssist was and they said newer model is wireless, while the older needs a wire cord to down load or up load information.

QuestionI presently have a Garmin NUVI 360. When I got this one I just had to copy and past the gpx file to transfer my locations from my older Garmin. Is it the same for this model?

QuestionCan you enter the latitude/longitude (GPS coordinates) to go places or is it strictly by address/street etc? I know my Garmin 360 only allows street address. Also, can you turn off the lane shift, and other driving alerts.

- Answer From the main screen on your Garmin driver assist select settings. Under the settings menu go down to camera options select camera options and scroll down and you'll see date and time location and speed uncheck the Box your camera will no longer log your speed date and time.

- Answer Yes it does. You can even choose the restraunt type you are looking for. It will display the ones near you or in another city if you like and then direct you to the one you choose.
