“Will this calculate steps taken WITHOUT using the chest strap? I had a Polar FT4, and for the thing to function, you HAD to wear the chest strap. Can you use this without the chest strap during running/walking?”

• The Forerunner 15 detects natural movement like walking or running without the use of a chest strap. There is an optional heart rate monitor, however this is not required for step tracking. -NM
