- Answer You will need a compatible smartphone in order to use the Bluetooth features of the nüvi 2789LMT. The primary use for the Bluetooth is to make hands free phone calls. All other features will work just fine, and will not require Bluetooth. Thank you, \tw/

- Answer Although I have mine mounted on the dashboard, I've had it out of the cradle and holding it in the car and it worked just fine. There should be no problem with mounting it in front of the dashboard.

- Answer The nüvi 2789lmt has basic navigation features. We don’t have anything that would work with detailed truck navigation (e.g. clearance of bridges ect.) for that region of the world. ~JH

QuestionIs best buy going to carry 2789?Called Garmin and called local and best buy customer service, no one can answer when or if best buy is getting any in stock. I had a 2797lmt which I have a best buy gift card to replace it under their extended warranty.

QuestionHow big is the internal memory?On my old nuvi, the software and current 1.6 Gb North America map does not fit on the internal memory of 2 Gb. Using a microSD card works fine for the map, but I wonder if that will be immediately necessary for the new 2789LMT.
