YES, you can. I did move all my old destinations (favorites) from a NUVI 2350 to NUVI 52LM.

Please try again later.Although Garmin Express allows you to back up saved favorites and transfer them to a different GPS device, the recently found items cannot be backed up. If you want to retain them, you can save them from the recently found list so that they show up as saved locations/favorites. Recently found items are temporary, so they may clear out on their own anyway as you look up more and more locations.
