Q: After charged for a dozen hours,it still displayed charging, why it cant display charging finish?ed
A: When charging in a vehicle, the battery indicator should fill up gradually. If you're charging your device by connecting it to your computer's USB, it's actually charging while in mass storage mode (or MTP mode), which is a data-transfer mode. The icon that displays when connected to a computer is an indicator of that data transfer mode, not charging. Charging on your computer takes quite a bit longer (approx. 8 hours from a dead battery) compared to charging in your vehicle (approx. 3-4 hours from a dead battery). -JPK
A: Yes, they all will. Once you enter destination and select 'go' simply GO BACK one screen to main view and in the lower left corner is an icon 'DETOUR' that changes the route. Do that till you find the one you like. Hope this helps.
A: No, you cannot get map of Canada from this product.
Q: Any disadvantage to purchasing an older (Garmin 2555LMT 2010) vs newer (52LM 2013)?
A: Battery life is to short.
Q: Does this device display your latitude & longitude coordinates in real time?
A: Yes, the nüvi 52LM will show your real-time coordinates when using the "Where Am I?" feature. ^DK
Q: Is the voice on the Garmin Nuvi 52LM loud?
A: It gets pretty loud.
Q: when car charging, must the GPS be in the holder?
A: The car charger on the nuvi 52LM will plug directly into the back of the nuvi. The nuvi can be turned upside down, however for proper satellite reception we recommend having it mounted to the windshield. Another idea would be turning the screen brightness down all the way after setting your destination (which can be done through the settings menu).
