A:AnswerProbably not too well. It is basically a step tracker so a lot is based on movement. When I do strength training exercise you can track the time performed and then edit it on the Garmin Connect app. Kayaking may be better since there is arm movement involved.

A:AnswerI only have mine set up for walking but I LOVE, LOVE.LOVE IT. It records when I swim so it would do running also. Very easy to set up. Changed time automatically when we switched to DST A couple weeks ago. Magnificent tracker. Only need to change the battery once a year. No dairy charging nonsense.
