• Hi JenM45, This tracker does not have built-in GPS, nor does it connect to your phone's GPS. A simple work-a-round for this is to use the Strava app, which connects to the Garmin Connect app. The Strava app will map your runs along with many other useful tools, which in turn will sync with Garmin Connect.
