Yes, this product has sensors that are designed to track repetitive walking/running motion as steps, however movement may not be detected on a stationary bike.

If holding on to the handrails of a treadmill or using this with a bike (stationary or not), steps will not be recorded as your arm/wrist does not move like it would when walking.
