If you don't use any of the notifications how long does the battery last? I was really hoping Garmin would come out with the vivofit 2 running on replaceable batteries and bands with a heart rate sensor built in. I wonder how long the watch battery would last for that.

I went around 3 days with out notifications and had an extra 4 days on the 7 I already got with normal use

The average with HR every few minutes and Bluetooth and notifications on... it takes about 3 days+ to run down the battery. I really doubt a coin cell battery would last anywhere near the 6 months you see from basic step counters. To be honest, the hour of downtime to charge every 3 or 4 days is much better than having to remove a back plate and replace a coin cell every couple of weeks.
