- Answer I believe that it says, somewhere in either the promo material or in the instructions, that the band is not normally user-replaceable. In other words, BUY the color unit you want. A cursory examination of the band on mine does show two very small Torx screws (T-0 or T-1) on each half of the band. This may allow you to remove and replace the band if you are able to get another color; but I think they are mainly for battery compartment replacement access when it eventually dies.
