• Yes, you can compete with other people in the Garmin Connect community. Anyone you know who has Garmin Connect. You can also join groups and be part of weekly challenges with people who have similar active lifestyles as yours. ~JH

• yes. but the ones you want to 'compete' with must have the same device, or at least on the Gamin Connect app
