QuestionWhat space in total will I need for this appliance including allowances away from walls and upper cabinet. I can see the size of the Convection/Microwave. But I understand that it heats up and needs extra space. Please let me know the total space needed.

- Answer I don't seem to have a problem with being close to the walls but I've put it diagonally to a corner so that may have prevented any issue.

Questionthe space for my microwave is under the counter and slides into an open "cubby/sleeve" hole. is this safe for the convection oven and air fryer function? my current GE microwave is PEM 31sm4ss which fits in the sleeve comfortably and safely.

QuestionI have an old 2000 he profile convection sensor which although it still cooks fine the seals in door look a little worn I have cooked small turkey and baked pies etc in this can u give me another model that replaces my oven GE

If your existing model is built-in your cabinetry using a built-in kit - the PEB9159SJSS with the appropriate built-in kit is the best model for you. QuestionSo far I love this oven! When I bought new glass baking dishes for it I also purchased a silicone mat that is supposed to sit on the glass turntable and protect it. I am thinking it should come out when we air fry. What about convection? Thanks!

- Answer Hey there! We're excited to hear you're loving your new oven! You are correct in thinking the silicone mats come out when you are air frying and using convection. Although they may be approved for use at higher temperatures, usually the temperature limit is 350F - 450F. The cooking surface could get hotter than this. They also keep radiant/halogen surface burners from heating/cycling properly. QuestionI love this actually very much. I was wondering though, is there a say I can turn the light off while cooking? Also is there a way to turn the turn option off when not using the turntable plate? Thanks so much.

You can indeed prepare pizza using this microwave – there is a convenience cooking control specifically for pizza on the control panel. If you use convection cooking to prepare your pizza, you can use one of the provided racks to allow air circulation around the pizza for even heat distribution - we would recommend using the short rack (you should always use one of the provided racks when using the convection feature). QuestionDoes this get hotter/need more ventilation than just a microwave? Trying to replace a same size microwave in a wooden cabinet, yet see clearances "recommended" are 3" on sides & top. I never had this much clearance prior over 20 years with no issues.

- Answer I also use a wooden cabinet to hold our mw. Clearance is a little over 2" on the sides. I keep an eye on it, especially while using the air fryer and convection oven features, but so far I have not noticed any problems with venting or excessive heat buildup.

- Answer Not much , fits under our counter easily with plenty room to spare , about 5 inches , much smaller than our old microwave which I like! Plenty of room inside and have used all three settings, Convection oven , air fryer and microwave, power is great on it , could have a better instruction book but not hard to figure out in your own. We love ours !
