We comply with all federal, state and international requirements regarding hazardous substances and meet those standards. We also comply with federal and state chemical labeling laws, like California Proposition 65. The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe or poses a health risk. Over 800 chemicals are on this list, including wood dust, nickel (found in stainless steel), nicotine, and alcohol. Additionally, even inaccessible parts can cause the warning. We can understand your concern; however, we do not provide detailed information about what causes the Prop 65 warning to apply. QuestionOn the GE 1.6 cu ft microwave is the control panel on both the stainless steel and black stainless model one is described as Electronic led display with touchscreen controls whereas the other says electronic controls only. What’s the difference?

- Answer Yes it has reheat; different power settings for it and also has dinner plate setting that has different power settings also. Either setting will heat your food extremely fast and very, very hot. Use mittens.
