Q: QuestionHow will this finger resistant SS finish microwave look paired with the regular stainless steel range as far as color? Does GE plan to introduce a finger resistant gas range any time soon? Thank You
Asked by Chloe.
- A:Answer Hi Chloe - We're excited to hear of your interest! We designed this fingerprint resistant finish to blend with non-fingerprint resistant stainless steels. The color and tone of our Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel has very good color harmony with the other products. The finish does have a more rich satin finish (slightly less reflective), but in kitchen suite appearance reviews, this has been accepted broadly. We currently offer GE Profile™ 30" Smart Slide-In Front-Control Gas Fingerprint Resistant Range with No Preheat Air Fry Model #: PGS930YPFS and GE Profile™ Smart 30" Free-Standing Self Clean Gas Fingerprint Resistant Range with No Preheat Air Fry Model #: PGB935YPFS. Asked by Rose.
This question was asked about the related product: GE - 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave with Sensor Cooking and Defrost - Slate
- A:Answer Hi Rose - Thanks for reaching out to us! We are sorry to hear your microwave JVM1750EP2ES needs replacing and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. All GE 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. However, when replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. We certainly appreciate your loyalty. Q: QuestionMicrowave won`t work. Cooking large dinner, one after another, microwave won't heat now. Light works, tray rotates, clock work.
Asked by 1Guy.
This question was asked about the related product: GE - 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave with Sensor Cooking and Defrost - White
- A:Answer Hi 1Guy - Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing GE! We are sorry to hear your GE Microwave Model JVM6175DKWW is no longer heating after cooking large dinner, one after another. This is frustrating, we know. Check to ensure the door is closed firmly. Close it firmly, but do not slam. This confirms the engagement of the door's safety mechanisms. Reset the electronics by unplugging (top cabinet) or by turning off power at the circuit breaker for 30 seconds or so. For safety reasons, we offer no do-it-yourself repair advice on microwave ovens due to an internal high voltage capacitor (can hold a high voltage charge even after it has been unplugged). Special equipment is generally needed to make a diagnosis. If the above suggestions do not solve the issue and the microwave still won't heat, we recommend contacting service. GE Appliances service techs are well trained and ready to help resolve issues. To schedule service online visit: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm - We hope this is helpful. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
