A:AnswerNo, this oven does not come with a shelf. I don't believe that there can be a retro bought shelf as there are no hangers for a shelf inside of the oven.
A:AnswerUnfortunately each model requires it’s own mounting bracket. The holes for mounting to the wall are different as are the tabs for connecting to the Microwave.
It is really poor design by GE as there doesn’t seem to be any reason for the bracket to change from model to model - especially when the dimensions of the Microwave are identical! Also, the holes you have to drill in the bottom of your kitchen cabinet will likely be in a different location too - meaning you will need to drill new holes in the cabinet and probably use fender washers to compensate for the weakening of the wood. Again, bad engineering design. It is a good Microwave, that could be better if GE paid attention to ergonomics.
A:AnswerHello – thanks for reaching out about this over-the-range microwave. When microwave cooking, the microwave door can be opened mid-cycle. However, doing this is harder on the appliance over its life. Using the Start/Pause button or waiting until the timer expires to open the microwave door is the best for the product life. If you’re concerned about the electrical arrangement setup, we recommend consulting a certified electrician. We hope this helps and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Kind Regards. A:AnswerHey - we checked the information for this unit, and there are some changes for the installation between this microwave and your current model. While this newer model would work in the same space as your current unit, the mounting brackets are not the same and the place for the bracket openings might not align. -- We recommend referring to the installation instructions for this unit to learn more about the appropriate installation steps for this microwave. You can find the instructions by looking up the model number (#JVM7195SKSS) on our GE Appliances website and going to the "Owner's Support" section. -- Please know you can also reach out to us on social media if we can assist you further. Have a great one. - Pablo@GEA
