- Answer You will experience normal vibration and nothing excessive. If desired, you can purchase some Anti-Vibration pads. It is best to install this on a firm flooring to minimize vibration during the spin cycle. Concrete flooring is best, but a wood base is sufficient, provided the floor support meets FHA standards. - Answer Our GUD24ESSMWW unitized washer/dryer unit measures 74 7/8"H. You might consider our GFW148SSMWW (washer) and GFD14ESSNWW (dryer) stacked with the optional kit GFA24KITL. The height of these units when stacked is 66 1/2"H. -Vikki@GEAppliances

QuestionCan the heat level of the dryer be adjusted? (I prefer to dry clothes on low heat for a longer time than on higher heat for a shorter time.) Also, is there a drying cycle with no heat? Thanks.

- Answer This model does not have a temperature selector for the heat level of the dryer. However, here are the corresponding cycles and their heat levels; Cottons - High Heat, Easy Care - Medium Heat, Delicates - Low Heat, and Quick Fluff - No Heat. The only drying cycle with no heat is the 10 minute Quick Fluff cycle.

QuestionWhat electrical outlets are required. I have a 120volt outlet and a 240 in a very small closet. The depth is 30, so I think it will fit. Thank you.

- Answer This can be connected using either. UL rated 120/240V, 30A with 3 or 4 prongs. We recommend identifying the plug type as per the house receptacle before purchasing line cord. The depth is 27 3/8 inches but will also need to allow for venting. If your dryer is approved for installation in an alcove or closet, it will be stated on a label on the dryer back. We suggest checking the installation guide for more specific details before your install.

- Answer The washing and drying are separate cycles, and you would have to transfer the load in between. But we do have washer/dryer combo models that don't require you to transfer the load between washing and drying, including PFQ97HSPVDS.

Not on the model I have & there's also a pre-manufactured indent in dryer door behind handle so more room when opening for hand size- perhaps there is a model that can be ordered as such - I'd call GE customer svc directly or inquire/chat with GE online - if so, can have Best Buy special order accordingly on your behalf.

QuestionHello I purchased the 2.3 cu ft 4.4 ge stackable on February. Last week after pressing the start button on the washer it would pump out a little bit of the water and then stop. Then the lights will turn off. Lid lock also broke. Any advise?

- Answer The stackable I purchased from Best Buy is working just fine. I have not experienced any of the problems you have described. It sounds like your stackable is not working properly. I would recommend that you use your warranty to get the appliance fixed or exchange it for a new one.
