Q: QuestionDoes this refrigerator come in no prints stainless?
Asked by Karl2.
- A:Answer Hi Karl2- This is Sue at GE Appliances. We are excited to hear of your interest! The stainless steel finish does not resist fingerprints. We suggest to view our Slate finish. Rich and elegant, the stone-inspired Slate finish blends impeccably with today's materials and colors. The dark matte appearance also naturally hides fingerprints, smudges and dirt, so it's delightfully easy to maintain. Slate was specifically created with today's open floor plans in mind. It goes with every texture and color, never clashing with the rest of your decor. A warm, matte texture matches every style. Stainless accents complement any hardware. On the sides, a specially created shade of gray goes with every color for easy coordination. Check out GE® SERIES ENERGY STAR® 20.8 CU. FT. FRENCH-DOOR REFRIGERATOR GNE21FMKES. Asked by Patty.
- A:Answer Hi Patty- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for viewing our GE® ENERGY STAR® Refrigerator GNE21FSKSS! Q: Question.very frustrating...I have a 30in space and the right side will be against the wall I know I will not be able to open widely but are the hinges flush and hidden or do they require more in too open? would be nice to see this 1st but no models out in store
Asked by dukie1558.
- A:Answer This would still work for you. You would have to have it out to install the shelves. The door hinge makes it so it can fit in a place like that and be fully functional

Q: QuestionWhere is this fridge made?
Asked by Gigi.
- A:Answer Hi Gigi - Thanks for viewing GE! Model GNE21FSKSS is manufactured globally. GE Appliances products are designed by GE Appliances engineers in the United States. Many are manufactured in the U.S. and others are made globally to our specifications. The country of origin is shown on the Model/Serial rating plate as well as the packaging. Manufacturing facilities (plant sites, where appliances are made) can and do change from time to time because GE Appliances continues to seek the most efficient manufacturing processes available. We make products all over the world for a Global marketplace. Therefore, your best source for manufacturing location is the packaging/product itself. Q: QuestionGE GNE25JSKCFSS...how do you tighten the freezer handle? there are no screws visible to do so.
Asked by Jeanne.
- A:Answer Hi Jeanne - Thanks for choosing GE Model GNE21FMKES! Attach the handle to the mounting fasteners by aligning the slots on the handle with the mounting fasteners. The trick is to stand at the left end of the freezer handle and grab the handle and pull towards you until you feel a "click". Take a look at page 21 of the Installation Guide at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60805-3.PDF - Also, view a video online at: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16779 - We hope this is helpful and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Q: QuestionHow to tighten the freezer door handle?
Asked by GE.
- A:Answer The question was how to tighten the loose handle not install it . The bracket holding the handle is loose.

Q: QuestionWe bought this fridge last year. The freezer handle is loose but there is no Allen wrench screw on the handle anywhere to tighten it. How do you tighten the handle?
Asked by Sb3688.
- A:Answer Hi I just finished figuring this out. Our new GE fridge door handles just snap into place. There is no Allen key or Allen key screw. There are two plastic snaps that the handles have to snap into. For the first few weeks the handles kept popping off of the doors if we pulled them the wrong way. I finally realized that you need to use a large amount of force and pull very firmly down on the handles until they snap into place. You will know when you have done it right!!
