- Answer Hi there, thank you for the excellent questions, and we would be happy to answer them for you. The ice bin is accessible from inside the freezer. It pulls out like a "drawer" with an opening on the top where you can easily grab ice. The butter shelf in the top of the door in the fridge also comes with a lifting plastic cover, so there is no need to order that part separately. QuestionI had this refrigerator delivered and installed, and I don't see any type of plastic cover on the very bottom that covers the metal parts for a more pleasing look. Should there be one?

QuestionIs there more than one position for the refrigerator shelves? Can I choose where they go? I know the freezer ones usually are, I'm specifically interested in hearing about the fridge shelves.

- Answer There are three shelves that can be moved around quite a bit in this refrigerator. The bottom three drawers are not adjustable. The freezer only has one shelf that can be moved easily.

- Answer It's actually surprisingly quiet. Although you can hear it, it's a pretty subtle hum. And I have to say, it's pretty efficient so it doesn't run much anyway. As someone that is conscious of sounds/noises, I have no complaints. It's a nice fridge.

QuestionHow wide is the refrigerator side (inches)? I'm concerned with some items not being able to fit...such as a sheet pan or a large pizza box. The pizza box being more important, obviously. Haha! Thanks in advance!

- Answer Hi there, We are finding that the fresh food section's interior has 14.23 cubic feet of space. Also, we have found that the fresh food section's shelf dimensions are as follows: Depth: 14", and Width: 16 1/2". We hope that this helped! QuestionHow much extra clearance do you need to open the doors? I have 37" but the left side will be against a wall.

- Answer Their quick specs guide says that you will need wall clearance of at least 10-3/4 inches on the freezer side in order to remove the bin. From my measurements you would need about 2 inches to open the door 90 degrees, and about 13 inches to fully open the door wide.

QuestionOur height clearance is tight , Ian confused with the Specs 701/8 product height 69 top of refrigerator w/o hinges 691/2 height to top of door hinges So how can the product height be 701/8?

- Answer I just measured from the floor to the top of the door, which covers the hinges. It was 70 1/8. I would say you want at least 70.5 inches.

- Answer Model GZS22IYNFS comes with a one-year warranty from date of purchase. During the limited one-year warranty, GE Appliances will also provide, free of charge, all labor and related service to replace the defective part. There is no additional warranty for the compressor and condenser. Note: The GE Appliances Profile and Cafe models come with a five-year warranty from the date of purchase, for any part of the sealed refrigerating system (the compressor, condenser, evaporator and all connecting tubing).

- Answer This model uses the XWFE water filter. If you're purchasing the unit new, the water filter will come pre-installed in the fridge. If you need to replace your current water filter, please follow the steps in the section titled: "Water Filter Cartridge - XWF" on pg. 9 of the Owner's Manual. The Owner's Manual can be located on the product homepage on the Best Buy website at the bottom of the "Features" section.

QuestionCan I get ice and water from outside without opening the fridge and does it come in black?

- Answer Yes, ice cubes, crushed ice, and chilled water can be dispensed through the dispenser on the outside of the refrigerator without opening the door. This GZS22IYNFS model comes in our Fingerprint Resistant Stainless finish and is also available in a Fingerprint Resistant Slate finish (model number GZS22IMNES). It is not available in a Black finish. If you are interested in a side-by-side refrigerator with a black finish, we recommend checking out model GZS22DGJBB. Lauren@GEAppliances
