Hi Melissa- Thanks for choosing GE! We're happy to hear you in the family. While the dishes should be dry after the Heated Dry cycle, the interior of the dishwasher will not be completely dry and some water remaining in the bottom of the dishwasher after completion of a dry cycle is normal. For best results, make sure inlet water temperature is at least 120°F. Adjust your water heater accordingly. We recommend the use of a rinse agent, such as Finish® Jet-Dry® Rinse Aid designed for great drying action and to protect against spots and film build-up on your dishes, glasses, flatware, cookware, and plastic. Use Wash Temp Boost option. Select a higher cycle, such as Wash Temp Sani, Sanitize Temp or Heavy. Also, this model does have Fan Assist Dry. Leave door closed after the Clean light appears to allow the fan to run an additional 90 minutes. Note: If you open the door, this fan extension will be cancelled. For reference, see page 23 of the Owner's Manual: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-55119-1.PDF - We hope these tips are helpful. Thanks for reaching out to us! SUE@GEA
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just got mine and the first two washes were a little rough. Mines is dry now. I added the jet dry, but it took my second load before it kicked in. I also used heated dry and it came out dry. If it is still wet crack the dishwasher door open for about 10 min and it will dry.
