Hi BOBCU - Thanks for your interest in GE! Model GDT226SSLSS has Condensate Dry and not Heated Dry. Condensate Dry is an energy-efficient drying system on some dishwashers. With this drying system design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in a warm humid environment. At the end of a cycle, while the dish load is still hot, the stainless steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. The use of a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists the drying process. Keep in touch! Sue
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No , that's the bad thing about the dishwasher, you have to crack the door to dry the contents.
