Hi Jorden- Thanks for your purchase! Pushing any button or opening and closing the door will re-illuminate the lights. This is normal. The dishwasher will make a beep or tone when the control panel is touched or the Start button is pressed. To turn off the control pad noises, press the Heated Dry or Power Dry pad 5 times in a row quickly. This turns off all tones and beeping, including the signal at the end of the cycle. Also, dishwasher beeps once every minute as a reminder that your dishwasher door has been left open during operation. It will continue beeping until you press Start and close the door.
