Hi Mully - Thanks for choosing GE! This is a 3 digit display cycle countdown. You may notice the dishwasher does not display the same time each time you start a cycle, and sometimes the count down display time jumps around. This is normal. The dishwasher has a soil and temperature sensor that measures wash conditions and automatically adjusts the wash cycle time. Keep in touch! Sue
