• A:Answer Hello MMO - Congratulations on the new refrigerator! We would love to answer any questions you might have. With a new installation, the icemaker will not start immediately after being plugged in, since the icemaker must reach a temperature of approximately 15 degrees F. before a cycle is initiated. Please allow up to 24 hours for the icemaker to begin cycling. Let us know if we can help with anything else. - John@GEA

If your refrigerator is freezing items, please ensure that it is set to the correct temperature and that the food load is at least half full.
