- Answer Both models are the same refrigerator. The differing letters are only significant in identifying manufacturing data records of when the appliance was made.

- Answer Try GNS23GMHES. 68.5 to hinge cover but less then 68 in to top without hinge cover. Need to measure the depth of your area you are placing the frig to see if the hinge cover is affecting your height.

- Answer Hello Karen - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we are happy to help you. Congratulations on your new refrigerator! This is a very nice model and we're happy to help you. The most effective way to remove adhesive left from packing tape or labels on new appliances, and to ensure no damage is done to the finish of the product, is to apply one of the following: ~Household liquid dishwashing detergent; ~Mineral oil; ~Cooking oil; ~Goo Gone®. Apply any of these methods with a soft, clean cloth and allow it to soak. Wipe it clean with a dry soft cloth. Do not use a plastic pad or equivalent. Wipe the appliance dry and then apply polish to thoroughly clean and protect the surface. Precautions: Do not allow the mineral oil, cooking oil, or Goo Gone to come in contact with any plastic parts, especially the inner liner of a refrigerator. These items will destroy the plastic parts. Do not use Goo Gone on stainless steel appliances unless you have tested it in an inconspicuous area first. In some cases, Goo Gone can discolor or darken stainless steel. We hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

- Answer The temperature decreases by one degree and a tone sounds with each press of the button. Once the lowest temperature is reached (34 degrees for the refrigerator and -6 degrees for the freezer), upon the next button press the temperature will jump to the highest setting (42 degrees for the refrigerator and 6 degrees for the freezer). Additional button presses will continue to lower the temperature by one degree until the desired temperature is reached. To learn more, see the “Changing the Temperature for Control Styles B and C” on page 10 of the Owner’s Manual, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. - Answer Hello there - We hate to hear that your refrigerator's handle is loose and we're happy to help. Tighten the set screws at each end of the handles. Most handles require a 3/32" or 1/8" Allen wrench to tighten. Additional information can be found on page 32 in the owner's manual. We hope that this helps. If you have just purchased this refrigerator, it was either installed improperly or all the packing tape wasn't removed. If it is not new, we recommend checking to ensure that there's not a food item wedged in such a way that is stopping you from opening the drawer further. Both refrigerator fresh food doors have to be opened to open the full width drawer.
