QuestionThere have been several times the washer seems to get unbalanced in the spin cycle. For example, I washed 2 pairs of jeans and a couple of shirts. No matter how many times I stopped the washer and rearranged the clothes it still was unbalanced.

- Answer Did you take the shipping rod out of the washer before using? It’s a long metal stick they put in to keep the wash tub from moving during shipping. It is taped in place on the bottom right side when facing and you have to take it out before using… other than that I have not had any problems with being “off balance” when spinning…

- Answer You are not alone my friend! My GE washer also leaked and caused major damage to my house (it was on the second floor). what you need to do is to through out the GE junk and buy a different brand. GE cannot make washers, if their lives depended on it. Mine lasted 6 months!

- Answer Yes, I Believe it is. It may be charged separately, but I do think it's included in the price of the unit. The vent, and other pieces are definitely charged separately
