QuestionHow can i tighten or remove screws that hold the fan vent together to stop the noise from being lose they are a screw that seem to be tamper proof? when on high it rattels loudly and can stand the noise

We recommend using a smaller duct pipe to reduce venting. It is important to minimize the duct run length and number of transitions and elbows. QuestionWhen I purchased product I was told that the two lights would never blow out. Seven months into owning product both lights blew out and with my protection plan with Beat Buy it’s not covered. So what is the purpose of having a protection plan?

- Answer Damper included. Single fan, left side oriented, 4 speeds. Is not wired with an outlet plug, the hole is a standard size for use with a cable strain relief.

QuestionI have a GE range hood model ZV830SMSS that is vented outside. it has a stainless steel filter for grease and also has a charcoal filter… Does a charcoal filter need to be re-placed or do I even need it at all since there is an external exhaust?

QuestionDid anyone notice grease collecting on the fan and dripping along the back edge against the wall? How long is the auto shutoff?

- Answer Hello there, we're very sorry to hear you've had grease collecting on the fan. This is never what we want to see and we're happy to assist you. For help with this, we suggest cleaning your grease filter. To remove the filters: 1) Slide the filter using the tabs. 2) Pull the filter down and out. To clean the filters: 1) Soak them and the swish around in hot water and detergent. Allow the filter to dry completely before putting it back in place. 2) Light brushing may be used to help remove embedded soil and dust. 3) Do not use ammonia or ammonia products. 4) Dishwasher cleaning is acceptable, but may discolor the filter. To replace the filters: 1) Slide the filter into the frame slot(s). 2) Press up and slide into place. We hope this is useful information to you and we're wishing you the absolute best. - GW

The term "convertible" (also called recirculating) vent hoods can be easily converted to be non-vented. This model range hood is manufactured with vents on the top rear of the appliance, so it is already set up for external exhaust. QuestionHi, can someone explain the lights? Description says it's a dual LED light with a setting that can be used as a nightlight, but some reviews mention only having a single light - and in the product image there only appears to be an on/off switch. Thanks.
